IS CERTIFICATION FOR ME?
If you work directly with crime victims' and survivors, then certification
is for you! Over the past few years there has been a growing interest in
developing standards and a certification program for those who provide direct
victim service. Thanks to a unique collaboration with the Crime Victims'
Assistance Network and the Oregon State Victim Assistance Academy (SVAA), and
with the help of a federal grant, this is now a reality.
If you or your agency receives grant funding from the Oregon Department
of Justice Certification is required.
